What is it that makes you happy?  For me there is nothing better than being in the garden and watching all of that hard work carried out in the cold winter months come to fruition.  The smells, sights and sounds in the garden are a testimony to the wonders of nature.

Furthermore, the payback for us is also the produce that we get from it. The vegetables and fruits grown are often made into an assortment of delicious dishes based on recipes from a whole host of books that we have on the shelves. Flowers are cut and are often arranged to make the indoors not only look good but smell good too.

As a biologist I am also fascinated by the microscopic world and have decided to delve into the depths of the garden and see what wonders it has to offer.
